Don’t believe those who claim that interior is something inanimate without soul.
Pay a visit to the “Richelieu” restaurant and sushi-bar “Pushisty” (“Fluffy”) and see yourself that each interior has its face. For instance, the face of the great French minister Cardinal Richelieu. His subtle and a bit cunning look is depicted on a number of portraits that decorate the walls of “Richelieu”. The bright positive interior resembles a Parisian street with begonia flowerpots in the tiny windows of houses-“dovecotes”.
Inside you’ll find yourself in a cozy cook-shop with low sofas bestrewn with cushions, antique furniture and fireplace-roaster.
The VIP-room is separated from the main room with a carved lattice. The tables are decorated with the candles in elegant chandeliers, the banquet hall is separated from the bar with a brick round arch. Overall, “Richelieu” accommodates 70 people with all the spaces easily transforming into isolated rooms. The restaurant’s cuisine is claimed to be European with the Ukrainian and Italian elements.
Menu is accompanied with pictures of meals so that you can look at them before making an order.
Among the salads, probably, the most interesting is “Cold Jannine” that is the half of a peach stuffed with chicken salad, cheese and spring onion. “Karine” is a creamy pumpkin soup with potatoes, prawns, calamari and black caviar. “Richelieu” has an impressive selection of steaks, fish dishes and a great wine list.
But if you are looking for something exotic you should go to the “Pushisty” sushi-bar that is connected with “Richelieu” by a corridor.
The interior is designed according to the Japanese principles of harmony starting from thought-out space and continuing with light atmospheric elements of décor. At the entrance of “Pushisty” there is a sushi-bar with sliced tuna, salmon, eel and other seafood to choose and check the excellent freshness.
All in all, despite their different specialties both “Richelieu” and “Pushisty” belong to the most charismatic and favorite restaurants of the local and foreign gourmets.
