Though “Le Grand Cafe” is not very original name for a restaurant appearing all over the world, it emphasizes the real essence of charming French cuisine represented here.

“Le Grand Cafe” is one of the most elegant and stylish restaurants in Kiev where you can have a dinner with surroundings of luxury and comfort. The restaurant has a well deserved reputation for excellent food and refined interior created by renowned French designers. Modernism-stylized interior was created by well-known French designers Laura Welfling and George Patrick de Richmond. Once you’re inside, the interior captivates you with its elegance, grace and impeccable taste.

Small tables of the Piano Bar are delicately illuminated by the bronze lamps which lampshades are made from ostrich eggs. The reproductions of the famous paintings of the Ukrainian artists of XIX – XX centuries create romantic atmosphere.
Sebastian Lepinoir, the chef from France and a student of gastronomic legend of the century Joël Robuchon, offers a wonderful combination of French and Ukrainian cooking traditions. In the first dining hall the Piano Bar you can have a light snack, drink a cup of tea enjoying piano music or have a nice conversation accompanied with a glass of wine.
Each meal here is a real piece of gastronomic art.

Even when just looking through the menu, you are seduced to taste everything offered: pheasant brisket stuffed with duck liver with apples “Marechal” and cowberries, crayfish salad with grapefruit, duck fillet with pear in red wine and celery puree and so on… Meanwhile the main dessert made from mango pieces with strawberry sorbet seduces even those who are on a strict diet or don’t like anything sweet at all.
Perhaps, mainly the top-notch menu and well-sustained French style make this restaurant popular and attract such A-list celebrities as Gerard Depardieu, Catherine Deneuve and Paul McCartney.
