“Buddha Bar” – the unique brainchild of an enterprising Frenchman Raymond Visan – unites the most elegant restaurants in different parts of the world.
Their distinctive sign is a sophisticated Asian menu, conceptual music, luxurious interior and a huge Buddha statue. At the moment there are seven “Buddha Bars” all over the world. Kiev is the eighth city adopted this heavy hitter.
The Ukrainian “Buddha Bar” residency is located in the heart of the Ukrainian capital. The central location is a must for all the “Buddhas” in the world. Now you are at noisy Kreschatyk, the next moment you find yourself in the mystical atmosphere of East.
The interior of “Buddha Bar” is made up by the furniture produced in private manufactories of France and Italy, fabulous chandeliers, handmade Egyptian fabrics, glass and bronze. And all this splendour is led by the huge Buddha statue (weighing 1.5 tons) made of Thai rosewood.
What differs Ukrainian “Buddha Bar” from its twin-brothers is the three-tier structure consisting of a restaurant, lounge area and a VIP-hall.
The restaurant is a zone of gastronomic pleasures where you can taste Pecking duck, tuna in sesame, Vietnamese spring rolls and cold mango soup. In London or Paris, Dubai or Jakarta gourmets order the same things as the menu in all “Buddha Bars” is pretty much the same.
There are lots of hidden spaces in the main hall where you can find a place to stay alone with your friends only. Here lounging on soft sofas you can enjoy the rhythms of excellent music. The stylish VIP-room is another attempt to follow the fashion where you can observe all “Buddha Bar”.
Sheltered from curious crowd you still have a possibility to watch bright and swinging night life.
“Buddha Bar” has given a special status to music. Its resident DJs feel free to mix Indian, Arabic, Spanish, Latin American and even Slavic rhythms. Not surprisingly, CD-tracks of world-famous residents occupy a special place in the “Buddha-bar” boutique.
Mainly, the restaurant’s guests are fashionable people who love to have fun and live their lives to the full. “Buddha-bar” in Kiev is one of the favorite places among foreign guests who love to come here because of the impeccable service, second-to-none food and unique ambiance.
