“Annabelle” is one of the kind restaurants in the Ukrainian city that propagandizes the so-called “haute cuisine”.
The main focus is on the taste or rather on the right combination of tastes and flavours of dishes and wines.
Refined elegance and sophisticated style these are what rule in the walls of “Annabelle”. In the white room with the French classic fireplace or in the intimate library-stylized hall, you can’t help feeling yourself as a real aristocrat. Thus, the cozy banquet room “Library” is an ideal place for business meetings. Nothing would bother negotiations. The hall design is strictly classical. As a rule, the high-range restaurants have a design like this.
There is no place for a cheap bad taste but glossy pomposity is not welcome here as well. While your order is prepared in the kitchen, you can beguile time looking through the books of the library. Just in time the awaited dishes appear carried by a waiter which sense of tact are honed to perfection. However, the interior is not what the place is mostly known for.
The key point is the menu, naturally. Here, not just French but the “haute” French cuisine is represented. Fish, meat, seafood – are first-class while delicate aromatic sauces shade the taste of the main ingredients and put them together.
Classic French and European dishes will please even the most demanding gourmets. Even more, the chef will gladden his guests with his own recipes. By the way, the chef of the restaurant appears to be Jacques Depeyre himself, the proud owner of a Michelin Star and the member of the prestigious association of the best chefs of France “Maitres Cuisiniers”.
All in all, the menu was created according to the classic principles: aristocratic manner of serving and the combination of natural tastes of ecologically friendly products only.
It refers to the bread of the restaurant own cooking – white, gray and rye cooked without fat according to the traditional French technology. It refers as well to the Fish bar with crunchy crust, curry sauce, Madras rice, and green apples – the divine classics. Add to all these fantastic wine and you’ll be coming here again and again.
